"Interesting ideas from the conference “Innovative Methods in Multicultural Education”"

Abstract
This presentation is meant for the teachers of English who did not have an opportunity to attend the conference
 “
Innovative Methods in Multicultural Education” that took place at Narva College of the University of Tartu on
13-15 May 2010. I am going to focus on some practical ideas and activities that seemed interesting to me and
 will discuss their applicability in the context of our schools (at basic and secondary school level).                    


Details and materials
I am going to touch upon presentations by five scholars. Below, you can see the names of the presenters
 as well as their affiliation. In one case, a scanned version of the handout provided by the presenters is     
 given (this is password-protected, the password will be given at the seminar), in other cases, links to
