I am now a researcher at the Institute of Computer Science at University of Tartu working in the NLP Research group. I am right now mainly working on automatic machine translation but I'm still interested in automatic morphological processing, which was the main topic of my thesis, and the prediction of clinical diagnoses based on language, which was my main research topic during the post-doctoral year.

Previously, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Computing Department in Macquarie University with Mark Johnson where I mainly worked on predicting Alzheimer's disease based on the transcriptions of patient's speech.

I received my PhD from the Tallinn University of Technology, where I worked in the Laboratory of Phonetics and Speech Technology at the Institute of Cybernetics. My dissertation Non-parametric Bayesian models for computational morphology was supervised by Sharon Goldwater from the University of Edinburgh, and Leo Võhandu.
