I am the Professor of Estonian Phonetics at the Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics at the University of Tartu. I received my Ph.D. in Estonian language from the University of Tartu in 2011 (The acoustic features and perception of the Estonian quantity system). My main research interest has been Estonian prosody, focussing on the word-level features of Estonian prosody (the three-way quantity system), but I have been also involved in investigating the prosodical features of other Finno-Ugric languages. I currently lead a project looking at multimodal marking of prominence. I teach courses of phonetics, Praat, statistics and R. In addition to the research activities I am one of the developers of the Phonetic Corpus of Estonian Spontaneous Speech and the Archives of Estonian Dialects and Kindred Languages, and one of the chief editors of the Journal of Estonian and General Linguistics and an associate editor of Phonetica.

Skript ei sobi pikema faili korral, sest sisaldab väikest viga, mis suurema faili korral arvuti kokku võib jooksutada.
