2017 - October	Jhonny attends the Quantitative Ecology Module in České Budějovice, Czech Republic.
2017 - September	Welcome, Vicente! Vicente Arcela from the University of Brasília (UnB), Brazil, visits us to work on functional diversity of woody plants in rocky savannas.
2017 - August	Welcome, Mickaël! Mickaël Mathieu Pihain from the University of Rennes 1, France, starts his PhD in our lab.
2017 - June	Jhonny and Pille participate at the IAVS symposium in Palermo, Italy, with a poster about the latitudinal gradient in plant phylogenetic diversity.
2017 - June	Riin defends her Master thesis on changes in tree phylogenetic diversity due to chronic anthropogenic disturbance in neotropical wet and dry forests, and Annika defends her Bachelor thesis on phylobetadiversity. Congratulations!
2017 - May	Mathieu Santonja and Andreas Prinzing from the University of Rennes 1, France, visit us to collaborate on ecoevolutionary feedbacks between decomposers and plants (Parrot program).
