Slides from the talk [pdf]

Abstract: The worker/wrapper transformation is a technique for changing the type of computation, usually with aim to optimize the program. It is commonly used by compiler writers, but is little known in the wider functional programming community. In this talk we provide systematic recipe for its use and explore the usefulness of worker/wrapper transformation using wide range of examples.
