We have made some small changes in the program. In particular, we will start the workshop at 16:30 on Friday.

Let us draw your attention that on Friday, April 25 at 10:15 in room L-511 (the building of our departement) Kaie Kubjas, one of the participants of our workshop, will give a seminar talk titled "What is algebraic statistics?" This is an introductory talk which is meant mainly for graduate students, but also anyone else who is interested is welcome to listen.

Those who will go to Mokko from Tartu should gather by 13:00 at the building of our department, J. Liivi street 2. We will go to Mokko by cars. After arriving at Mokko we propose a small tour at Palamuse (2 km from Mokko), especially a visit to Palamuse Parish School Museum, see http://www.palmuseum.ee/ .

The workshop will start at 16:30.

After Saturday lunch, 13:30-15:30 we have some free time which we plan to use for a small sightseeing tour by cars. We will probably visit Laiuse castle ruins and maybe some other places in the surroundings. If it happens that we don't have enough cars for all participants then we will prefer participants from other countries.
