The subcategory of global modules in the category of partial modules

Based on my Bachelor's thesis, this talk is about partial and global modules over a non-unital ring. Heleen Saarse-Külaots has defined partial modules, their homomorphisms, and their tensor product in her Master's thesis. We will use these results, along with the Dorroh extension of the ring, to prove that the category of global modules is both a reflective and coreflective subcategory of the category of partial modules. The result on reflectivity generalizes a corresponding result on partial semigroup actions by Valdis Laan and Ganna Kudryavtseva.
