The number of participants is limited to 60 by the capacity of the venue.

Application deadline: February 15, 2011. Decisions on accepted participants, talks and support grants will be announced by February 20, 2011.

There is no attendance fee. The cost of accommodation is 60 EUR per room per night. The hotel is pre-booked, you need not contact the hotel beforehand.

Grants to cover travel and/or accommodation expenses of a number of PhD students and junior scientists are available. To be considered for a grant, you are expected to give an oral presentation and to send a short CV with relevant publications (toomas.tammaru@ut.ee). Senior scientists other than the invited speakers are expected to pay their own way.

Selection of participants, oral presentations and travel/accommodation grants will be based on 1) relevance of one’s research topic for the main themes of the meeting, 2) the country of residence of the candidate. According to ESF rules, participants from countries sponsoring the Thermadapt networking programme (see Thermadapt webpage) are given priority.
