Ungru Manor

Story

Ungru manor was constructed in 1890s. There is a legend, that it was built because the noble's love, a German woman would only agree to marry him if he would build a manor just like the one in Merseburg, Germany. The woman died and the construction was never finished. Later during the Soviet Union, soviet army found a use-case for the manor, they demolished 1/3 of the manor in order to build a landing strip for a nearby airfield. Somehow local authorities intervened and saved the other 2/3 parts of the manor. It was entirely destroyed in Northern war in the beggining of the 18th century.
